This single-serving bowl has a nice 'X' displayed in the grain. Also a splash of dark wood that I've never seen before except from bowls cut out of this tree. Very interesting indeed.
There is a splash of white sap wood on the outside just for good measure. A dark racing stripe burnished on the exterior. This beauty will age gracefully.
